Louisville Agents Win Big at Awards Banquet

We want to give a big congratulations to both Sherry Spanyer and Louise Miller, members of the Louisville Ball Homes Sales Team. They won awards for their volume of new construction sales at the Home Builders' Association of Louisville Sales and Marketing Council Award Banquet.


Louise also won top honors for the number of new construction units sold over the past year!

Lexington Top Producer Luncheon

We, at Ball Homes, are so blessed to have a wonderful group of Realtors who work diligently for our company on the Ball Homes Sales Team. On Tuesday, we celebrated their hard work at the Lexington Top Producer luncheon.



Award winners were divided up into the Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum level awards, based on the number of sales over the past year.

Bronze Award Winners: Matt Walling, Meredith Lane, Debbie Meers, Sally Ford, Jennifer Sisson, Todd Back, Teresa Parks-Crumbie, Fred Kamdar, Dale Ferguson, Connie Greathouse, Mary Layton, Ben Brown, Malcolm Meers, and Scotty Floro.
Silver Award Winners: Matt Gerwin, Erin Lewis, David Lee Stewart, Erin Raymond, and Mike Wheatley.
Gold Award Winner: Greg Back
Platinum Award Winners: Drew and Lee Hewlett

Drew and Lee Hewlett were the Top Producers for 2012 in Lexington. They were also awarded the "David Lee Stewart bobble-head award" for being the Top Producers for the month of December. Congratulations Drew and Lee!
  

A very special award was given in honor of Bob Osbourn, the former Milestone Realty Consultants Broker who passed away in 2007. He was actively involved in his community and was very disciplined in his real estate career. The award was given to the Realtor who emulated the characteristics that Bob was famous for. The first annual Bob Osbourn Award was presented to Ben Brown, who always gives 100% to his clients. Congratulations Ben!

Award-Winning Townhome Design: The Milan II

The Milan II floor plan won the award for best townhome design up to $250,000 at this year’s Salute to the Stars awards ceremony. For more information on the Baldwin floor plan, which won the award for best new home design $150,000-$225,000, click here. The Milan II is a ranch-style luxury townhome plan built in the Walnut Hill Club of Lexington. 


The home has a two-story brick arched entrance with elliptical feature window has a hipped roof motif that is repeated in the balance of the exterior. The home has lots of interior volume, with a high-ceilinged foyer, a vaulted family room, and columns and arches framing the formal dining room. 


The front bedroom's vaulted ceiling frames a double window with elliptical transom. The home has two bedrooms standard, plus a screened porch, and can also be built with an optional third bedroom or study in lieu of the porch. The screened porch is included with the standard plan, and can be accessed from both the family room and from optional double French or patio doors adjoining the master suite.
 



The porch may be converted to an optional sunroom. The family room fireplace can be upgraded to a double-sided fireplace, shared with the sunroom. Trey ceilings in the master bedroom and dining room, a built-in bookcase and plant shelf in the family room, and a luxury bath layout add additional aesthetic appeal.

2012 Salute to the Stars Awards Ceremony

The Home Builder’s Association of Lexington held their annual Salute to the Stars awards banquet and ceremony on Thursday night at the downtown Lexington Hilton. This prestigious awards program recognizes those who have helped shape HBA Lexington into the association that it is today by inducting those individuals into the HBA Lexington Hall of Fame.
 
One Builder, Remodeler, and Associate member was also recognized for their outstanding service to the Association. During the evening, awards were given honoring new construction and remodeling projects, as well as associates and realtors who go above and beyond all year long. 

Ball Homes won the award for best townhome design priced up to $250,000 for our Milan II floor plan. We also won the award for the best new home design priced $150,000-$225,000 our Baldwin floor plan.

During the evening, our founders, Don and Mira Ball, were inducted into the HBAL Hall of Fame for their service to the home building community. They have achieved unparalleled success in their business and have also made significant contributions to the public well-being in Lexington and the state of Kentucky.
