The votes are in and Ball Homes has been voted as Lexington's Favorite Home Builder for the sixth consecutive year!
Voters were able to choose their favorite place to eat, shop, go to church, go for entertainment and more in the Lexington area.

The results are in! The Grand Tour of Homes concluded July 21st, and we're pleased to report that our entries brought home a total of eleven First Place awards, including two for Best Floor Plan.
Our top winner was the Arlington II Expanded model in The Reserve at Bryant Oak, which brought home six First Place awards in the $350,000 to $399,999 price category, including Best Floor Plan. The Arlington II Expanded also received First Place awards in the categories of Exterior, Kitchen, Master Suite, and Interior Features, as well as the Best Overall award.
The Florence II, our luxury townhome model in The Walnut Hill Club at Chilesburg, was also judged Best Floor Plan. the Florence II also won for its Master Suite, and brought home the Best Overall award in the $280,000 to $349,000 category.

Our Rockwood II model in Glasford was judged first in the categories of Kitchen and Master Suite, for homes in the $260,000 to $279,000 price category.

Independent judges selected by the Home Builders' Association of Lexington judged the eligible homes, which were among 38 homes in Fayette, Jessamine, Scott, and Woodford Counties that were part of this year's Tour. Homes that had not won awards in previous Tours were eligible for judging in a variety of categories, within several price ranges. This annual event is presented by the Lexington Home Builder's Association.

Lexington, KY has been named as one of the "Top 25 Places to Retire" by Forbes.
Forbes compared over 400 cities, looking at factors like cost of living, climate, and opportunities for outdoor activities and volunteer work. Lexington was cited for its college-town ambiance, low cost of living, good state tax climate, and high volunteering level.

We, at Ball Homes, are so blessed to have a wonderful group of Realtors who work diligently for our company on the Ball Homes Sales Team. Members of our Louisville Ball Homes Sales Team from Prudential Parks and Weisberg were honored at their annual awards luncheon last week for their sales and service to our company over the past year. Award receipients included Louise Miller, Daniel Spanyer, and Sherry Spanyer.
Louise Miller was the top award winner company-wide, winning the Prudential President's Circle award for her sales throughout 2012.
Daniel Spayer won the Prudential Leading Edge Society award for his sales. Sherry Spanyer also won the Charles Weisberg award for benevolence to the community and real estate industry.
Ball Homes and Prudential Parks and Weisberg have had a long-standing relationship and we are so proud of their accomplishments and their commitment to excellence. Congratulations!
