Every year, the Home Builders Association of Lexington hosts the Grand Tour of Homes. The Grand Tour of Homes is the HBA's Annual scattered site showcase of new homes. This event features homes built by HBA Professional Builder Members and provides a great opportunity for consumers to view the latest trends in new home construction and to speak directly with HBA Professional Builders about their dream homes. Ball Homes was pleased to enter several of our most popular floor plans into the tour.
During the tour, industry professionals associated with HBA go through each of the entered houses and rate each area of the house. Ball Homes was honored to win four awards in each of our entered categories.
In the category for homes ranging from $300,000-$399,999, our popular Hartford II home, located at 4068 Mooncoin Way in Glasford, won first place for its Master suite design. The plan includes a double tray ceiling in the bedroom, and his-and-hers vanities, a corner whirlpool tub, and 4' shower stall in the bath.

The kitchen includes a barrel style island, huge walk-in pantry, and separate breakfast area. The upstairs Master Suite has a spacious separate sitting area, and double doors open to the Master Bath, which includes dual walk-in closets, his-and-hers vanities, and a platform garden tub and oversized tiled shower stall.
For homes ranging from $200,000-$239,999, our popular Cavanaugh II D-elevation model home at 104 McIntosh in our Pleasant Valley subdivision won first place for the beautiful Master suite. The huge master bedroom features an oversized wrap-around master closet and a master bath layout that includes dual vanities, a linen closet, and a commode enclosure.
